Event Details: Composting....not just for the countryside! Yes! Even crazy-pants Urbanites can do this simple task to Greenify their lifestyles and reduce carbon footprints.
Food scraps are some of the major players in methane gas production and therefore, climate change. Composting turns household table scraps into potable soil. Monica Robles from GrowNYC will be there to show us all how easy it is to compost and how beneficial it is for our community and planet.
