North Country Imbolc Celebration

Celebrate Imbolc with the North Country Druids!
Event Details: Imbolc is Brighid's sacred day! Join the North Country Druids and honor the Irish Goddess of song, poetry, art, crafts, motherhood, and domesticated animals!
The group will gather at 3:45 pm for a pre-ritual briefing. The ritual will begin at 4:00 pm.
Please bring 1-3 small objects to place on our Imbolc altar. They may be representations of Brighid or anything you associate with her (sheep, fire, water, Brighid crosses, etc) . Please also bring a special offering for Brighid such as milk, healing herbs, or a poem. Brighid's flame will be shared with those who bring a candle. This is an excellent opportunity to start keeping a candle in Brighid's name!
A potluck dinner will follow. We request that you bring your own plates, cups, and cutlery to cut down on our environmental impact. After dinner, Grey Catsidhe will teach the group how to make Brighid crosses.
This event will take place at the Kripalu Yoga and Wellness Center in Adams, NY. The ritual will be held outdoors immediately behind the Yoga Center. Please dress for the weather. All other activities will be indoors!
This event is free, but any small donations towards renting the ritual space would be greatly appreciated!
