Elwin presents...

Columbus Pagan & Witches Moot

When: Monthly... First meeting on Thursday Jul
Where: Columbus, Ohio

Columbus Pagan & Witches Moot for Shindigs, Fun & Frolicks...

Event Details: A meet up group for the Pagans and Witches of Columbus, purely a social gathering focused on forging friendships with other like-minded people of all traditions or none, offering a networking and social Pagan/Witch support group for all... Or for those who are lost in the darkness, and awaiting their return to the Goddess... Or for those who are just fun, open minded individuals, who fancy hanging out with a bunch of Pagans and/or Witches...
In general a Merry Pagan Shindig! We have arranged our initial Moot for the 9th July at a Teahouse in town... Where we cal ALL discuss where we'd like our moot to go and schedule our monthly meetings around everyone (as much as possible) ...
Either in a bar to shoot some pool, a coffee shop, potluck picnics, cosy places to talk and have something to eat in good company etc, etc... Changing the venue around to suit what we all fancy doing instead of just staying at the same place...
At a later date even arranging days out to places of interest, Open Circles and IF we get enough interest I will be willing to work hard at getting a Pagan/Witchcraft Festival and camping Gatherings off the ground...
Please message me with your interesting and ideas... This is for you all and I’d love to hear from you all in regards to what you would enjoy and get the most out of...
Below is the LiveJournal for the Columbus Pagan & Witches Moot – Where I will keep listings of the where’s and when’s and how’s in regards to what we are doing, the shared ideas I receive and to use as a general discussion board!
You can comment without being a LiveJournal member – Just please remember to leave your name!
I look forward to hearing from you and getting our Moot of the ground!
Blessed Be my Brothers and Sisters, and hopefully we’ll Merry Meet very soon...
Event Location: Contact me for Teahouse details in Columbus
Event TIME Details: 7pm - 9pm
Directions: The Moots intitial meeting on Thursday 9th July will be held in a Teahouse in central Columbus... Please contact me for details as I need to make sure that I will have a seat for you to park your backside...
I have quite a few people now who would be interested... And I've finally found a nice wee venue that is quiet enough to talk, and has an amazing tea menu... They also serve gorgeous deserts! Yum!
Since its discovery in the third century B.C, tea has been a significant historic and cultural link across the world... In China, tea inspires a prolific literary tradition... In Japan, it is a integral part of Zen rituals and self-cultivation... In Britain, tea is the centre of social gathering and relaxation...
So what better than to hold our first Moot among the gorgeous smells of over 100 varieties of Tea from all over the world...
So how would you fancy tea, talk and great company on a Thursday evening in the next few weeks!?
I really hope a Thursday evening is good for you, and if you'd be bringing anyone with you they are more than welcome, I just need a rough number... Thursday 9th July from about 7-9ish...
