Samhain Ancestor Ritual
When: Oct. 31st. 2012
Where: Chillicothe, Ohio
An evening communing with the ancestors
Event Details: A ritual to honor the ancestors of our blood lines, of our memories, of our beliefs, even our beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Bring a momento to place on the altar that represents your ancestor to you. You can also bring a picture if you have one. This will be a very reverent ritual as we honor those who have gone before and encourage them to cross the veil and spend a few sacred hours with us. There will be a potluck meal after, so please bring a dish to share with all. Meat, potatoes and bread will be provided. There will be mulled cider, but if you desire anything else, please bring your own beverage. Robes or cloaks if you have them, if not you are welcome in your normal everyday attire. There will be a "meet and greet" from 7 - 7:45, and the ritual will begin at 8pm. Once the ritual begins the doors will be locked so as not to interrupt the flow of the ritual.

Directions: Directions: From Columbus and points North of Chillicothe:
23 S to Bridge St. exit in Chillicothe
go south on Bridge, cross over the Scioto River bridge,
turn right onto Riverside Dr. Road will come to a Y ..take the left, then turn left onto S. Mulberry St.
Go to E. 2nd St, turn right Pass the Majestic Theatre, we are just up on the left side under the green awning
104S from Columbus points North
take 104S into Chillicothe, 104 becomes N. High Street.
Follow N. High to Mill St. (just past the DQ)
turn left onto Mill St. that will take you straight into the park. Folllow the road through the park until you get to Water St. Turn left at the light. Go to S. Mulberry St, turn right, go to E. 2nd St, turn right Pass the Majestic Theatre, we are just up on the left side under the green awning
From Cincinnati ..
take either 32E or Rt50
if you come 32E ..get off on Rt23 N in Piketon.
23N to Chillicothe, Main St. exit. Turn left at bottom of ramp.
Follow Main St. all the way to S. Mulberry St. Turn right. Go to E. 2nd St, turn left. Pass the Majestic Theatre, we are just up on the left side under the green awning
Coming Rt50.
Rt50E out of Cincy.
all the way into Chillicothe
Once in Chillicothe, RT50 will become Western Ave.
Follow into town to Water St.
Turn left. Go all the way to S. Mulberry St, turn right, go to E. 2nd St, turn right Pass the Majestic Theatre, we are just up on the left side under the green awning
Jackson, Athens, points West
take 35/50 W into Chillicothe, once in Chillicothe, take 23N to Main St.
Turn left at bottom of ramp.
Follow Main St. all the way to Paint St. turn right.
Follow Main St. all the way to S. Mulberry St. Turn right.
Go to E. 2nd St, turn left.
Pass the Majestic Theatre, we are just up on the left side under the green awning
