Samhain Celebration with the Cranes
When: Oct. 28th. 2012
Where: Westerville, Ohio
Samhain Celebration with the Druids of ADF
Event Details: Are you still wondering how you will celebrate this Samhain this year? Come join the Druids around the fire as we lift our voices in mighty spirits to the Old Ones!
This will be an entire afternoon event. The festivities will start at noon (12:00) with pumpkin carving (BYOP!) That means bring your own pumpkin (smile) . Then its on to workshops, divination, and other activities. Our ritual will begin at 4:00 PM. We will be honoring Cernunnos at this rite! We will also honor a pair of traditional Mother and Father Deities of the Gaulish tribes. There will be a special honoring of personal Ancestors as well.
A workshop will feature details about the Underworlds in myth and legend.
We will also do trance working to visit with our Ancestors before the ritual takes place, so be sure to bring something for the Ancestor altar!
We will have a potluck after the rite, so please consider bringing a dish to share, and a plate and utensils to eat with!
Please bring a canned good for local donation. For ideas about what to donate, please see the Mid-Ohio Foodbank's needed donations list.
