So you’ve read books on the basics of witchcraft, attended some classes as well as some rituals. You’re intrigued with what you’ve learned, but now what? Where do you go from here? How do you actually incorporate what you’ve learned into your daily life, habits and activities?
Working with the moon is an important and natural part in a witch's existence. All moon phases are a time of great potency for the practice of witchcraft and other forms of Pagan magick. Intimately connected with the Goddess and her mysteries, the Moon's energy is primary for many modern witches.
Before you begin creating spells, potions or any other magick, you may want to learn how the moon’s different phases affect spell and ritual work. Knowing what these phases mean is vitally important to working effective magick.
My workshop, Lunar Magick – Whispers of the Moon, offers intensive training in making use of all phases of the moon’s energy in the context of magick and ritual. In this class, we will learn how the energy of the moon shifts with the cycle of the seasons, how to perform effective Moon magick alone or with a group, and how the contrasting energies of the Goddess and God (Moon and Sun) can lend their power to magickal work.
This 8 week workshop is intended for those who have already applied themselves to the basic art of witchcraft, Wicca, or a similar Pagan magickal practice, and now want to proceed with more intensive training.
I've designed this class so that you can comfortably follow along with the information through handouts, studies and ritual while discovering the Moon's influence in your own very personal way. In fact, I promise that after following the magick within the phases of the Moon with me, your personal experience of the cycles will become more alive and deeply intimate than you ever imagined. This is a gift to yourself you won't regret.
What's expected of you
• Basic skills: raising energy, relaxation, meditation, and knowledge of the 'ABC' of witchcraft, the esbats, and phases of the moon.
• You need to make time for homework, which will take around 30 minutes to an hour every week, plus an occasional walk in nature as well as unaccompanied time spent with the moon.
• Upon registration, you’ll need to obtain a note book or journal. You’ll be informed of any additional supplies needed in your first class.
Course content is not tradition-specific.
