Artemis: The Great Hunt Event
Event Details: Come join us for the hunt as we celebrate the goddess Artemis! Meet at Oxbow Park to run through the woods as either a stag or a hunter. We recommend that you wear comfortable outdoor clothing, and bring a water bottle. Participation is not mandatory but lots of fun. Some... attendees will become stags, others will be hunters. (If Artemis doesn't have any stag volunteers she will choose who's who!)
What better way to celebrate the huntress goddess than by honoring her with a stag hunt! Come prepared to experience the thrill of the hunt as we journey through the woods as only Artemis could do.
The Artemis workshop is one in a series of workshops leading up to the Northwest Fall Equinox Festival, September 13 - 16, 2012 put on by Nine Houses of Gaia. We do ask that you only bring children over 9 years of age and a $10 donation is suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
