A Women's Workshop and Ritual for Dedication and Renewal
Event Details: As our ancestors once did, so we do today, and so our children will do in the future. We will gather to pay homage to Brighid, Lady of Fire and to the rising light of the year. Now is the time of stirring when the earth begins to soften and the waters to flow. While frost still bites and winds blow, the light is growing stronger, and life begins to awaken. This is the feast of Brighid, the Goddess of Fire and Water. She is the year's midwife who births the sun. Through the union of fire and water, the ancients, our ancestors, worked magic to call in the spring. So let us join together for a day of magic so that we may honor her and share our vows of dedication and renewal to Goddess, each other and the Earth.

Bendis (Deanne) has been a Priestess of The Goddess for 26 years and is the author of four books. She is an Adjunct Professor at Ocean Seminary College, teaching classes on the Ogham, Ritual Creation, Ethics for Neopagan Clergy, Exploring Sensory Awareness, Energetic Boundaries, and many other classes on the uses of magic. She is the founder of Global Goddess, a worldwide organization open to all women who honor some form of the divine feminine, The Apple Branch - A Dianic Tradition where she mentors women who wish to serve as priestesses, as well as Beyond the Ninth Wave, an online Druidic Study Group.
