Join us for an amazing community experience in the Magic of Fire Circle. Three all night Fire Circles, a conscious progression of ecstatic experience, and the Alchemical Technique of Symbol, Rhythm, Movement and Song.
Fires Rising is a four day magickal experience of Universal Fire Circle Alchemy. We are drummers, dancers, singers, ritualists, mask-makers, poets and dream-weavers... Artful Alchemists! Together, we will explore the deepest of all mysteries, The Great Work of Alchemy, of transforming all we touch into Gold. This year's experiment will deepen our understanding of the Alchemical process, as we individually and collectively learn to implement the advanced alchemical formulas that will be blended into the flow of this unique ritual working.
The core group hosting this gathering has been consciously refining and re-defining the magic and potential of Fire Circle Alchemy. We are excited to join with you in a distillation of music, magic, dance and poetic offerings which reflect the evolution and deepening understanding of these sacred arts. For the past several years we have been experimenting at fire circles around the world. We have learned through continued feedback from YOU, our friends in the Family of Fire, what does and does not work. We listen; we digest; we learn and we evolve.
Fires Rising 2007 represents what we believe to be the cutting edge of the development of Fire Circle Alchemy!
In support of this evolution, we will be revealing a powerful collaborative method designed to guide individual musicians towards direct engagement with each other, service to the circle as a whole, and conscious identification with the alchemical implications of their own artistic process. Our play together will include our five agreements, new alchemical formulae, and a number of new musical structures. There will also be a series of required, exciting, and inspiring workshops for all drummers or percussionists who wish to participate in the Musical Magic of our nightly journeys.
We strongly discourage Saturday arrivals. Attendance will be limited!! Please visit the event website to read detailed information about the event.
