Recreating the ancient moonlodge
Event Details: Recreating the ancient moon lodge for women of today's culture. Inspired by Anita Diamants novel The Red Tent as well as ALisa Starkweather (http://www.alisastarkweather.com)
Women of all ages and beliefs are invited to join us in a safe, sacred space. We will come together to co-create a space that celebrates being women , and honors sisterhood.
The intention is to find within and without yourself a welcoming, comforting, nurturing and empowering environment. We will find ourselves in a room surrounded by red fabrics, lights, candles, incense, pillows, and peaceful music. We will share soup, tea and snack, potluck style.
Our experience will be a relaxing, supportive, space to care for one another, and to give and receive healing. It is our time to just BE. This can be achieved through activities such as sharing stories, making artwork, reading, resting, Reiki, meditation, yoga, singing, belly dancing or whatever unstructured methods we feel called to do.
In closing our RTT, we will share our hopes, dreams, visions, intentions, concerns, and set goals to achieve during the coming month, with in a circle of sisters.
If you are new, and would like more information or even to first meet up at Borders Bookstore , Everything Natural or Goddess Creations , please let us know.
