Witchcraft/Wicca basics course

When: First Thursday of each month
Where: Ashland, Pennsylvania

Intro to Witchcraft and Wicca (eclectic and traditional)

Event Details: We are a private circle/class structure teaching the basics of witchcraft and eclectic wicca with some emphasis on the structure and teachings of Traditional Wicca. This class is designed as a preparatory class to training within the Black Forest Clan; although joining the Black Forest Clan is certainly not a requirement upon completion of the course! The instructor for this course is a Third Degree within the Black Forest Tradition.

Our goals are to learn the ways and practices of the witch, the ways and practices of the religion of wicca, and delve into discussion of the Mysteries as celebrated by Traditional Wicca. We feel it is better to learn these things in a structured environment and with a group of peers. Let's face it: things are more fun with more people!

If you are interested in joining our group for these regular classes, please be prepared to commit to coming to class one time per month; typically the first Thursday of every month. We do not offer any alternative class days/times nor do we offer private one-on-one training nor will the class travel to you-you must travel to us. There are no fees or charges at all for this class but you will be required to collect two books that our class uses as our framework for study as well as your own notebook and other supplies needed for ritual and/or magickal workings.

Although we are not considering ourselves a working coven, we do have plans to get together to honor our religion and celebrate the sabbats and/or esbats as scheduling permits for all members. However this is secondary to our primary goals of teaching and learning.

Serious seekers only please! We do not allow for spectators or friends to come along to class with you. There is limited space and this class is for serious and committed people only.

Event Location: 13th St. in Ashland
