Spiritways CUUPS announces...

Open Samhain Ritual

When: Oct. 28th. 2012
Where: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Join Spiritways As We Honor Our Beloved Dead

Event Details: Join Spiritways CUUPS to celebrate Samhain, when we honor our beloved dead and spend some time with those who have passed away. This moving ritual will be led by the Spiritways Leadership Team and will begin at 7:00 pm. on Sunday, October 28th at the UU Church of the South Hills (Sunnyhill) . We will part the veil between the worlds in practice of the Old Ways. If you have a token of remembrance in honour of a beloved deceased one, feel free to bring it with you for placement on the West Altar. We also ask that you dress in ritual garb (or all black clothing) for this High Sabbat honoring the Ancestors who have gone before us. You may also bring a small percussion instrument (drum, rattle, etc....) to use as we raise the Cone of Power by dancing and chanting/singing " Hoof and Horn." For those who don't know the words, they are simple: "Hoof and horn, hoof and horn All that dies will be reborn. Corn and grain, corn and grain, All that dies, will rise again." Blessings From the Spiritways Leadership Team
