Samhain

Come honor your Ancestors with Whispering Lake Grove this Samhain!
Event Details: The Druids of Whispering Lake Grove, ADF would like to invite you and your family to celebrate Samhain with us on Sunday, October 28th beginning at 5:30PM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation building in Erie, PA. For driving directions please visit our Grove's website at: www.whisperinglakegrove.org.
Join with us as we celebrate the final harvest and the new year that lies before us by honoring the Ancestors and seeking their wisdom. Remember your loved ones, beloved family and friends, that have passed from this world; celebrate their lives and deeds as the veil between the worlds thins and the Mighty Dead have opportunity to walk with the living once more.
All guest are welcome to bring Ancestor memoriabilia to add to the Ancestor shrine for the ritual. All items placed on the shrine will be returned immediately following the event. Everyone is also welcome to bring an offering/gift for your Ancestors that you will have an opportunity to give during the ritual. Offerings can be in the form of food, drink, works of your hand, songs, poems, stories etc.

Event TIME Details: Doors open at 5 pm, event beginning at 5:30 pm
Directions: The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie is located at 7180 New Perry Highway (Rt. 97) in Erie, Pennsylvania, less than a mile north of I-90.
From I-90:
Take Interstate 90 to Exit 27 (old exit 7, Route 97) . Take Route 97 North; the church will be on your left about 0.2 miles.
From the City of Erie:
Drive south on Glenwood Park Ave. (PA Rt. 505) past the Zoo, or on Old French Rd. (PA Rt. 97) . Church will be on the right, on New Perry Highway (also PA Rt. 97) as you approach I-90.
