Country Fair
When: Apr. 26th. 2013 - Apr. 27th. 2013
Where: na, Rhode Island
Supporting & connecting with our local artists & naturalists!
Event Details: We are putting together a couple of fairs & festivals for the Coventry & Exeter areas for early Spring, 2013 !
We know it may seem a bit early, however, we know there are many crafters in the area the were unable to make it into some of the other Art Festivals
and we would like to give everyone a chance to get in on these local events, as well as have plenty of time to prepare.
As of the moment, a 10'x10' space will be $30.00 per day or $50 for the 2 day weekend event in Coventry. This is a smaller, close to home event, holding approx 20-30 vendors on route 117. Dates to be announced, pending interest.
The larger, Exeter event will be $150 for the 2 day/weekend (also 10'x10) . This will be geared more toward the old school fairs many of us grew up with! We are looking for our local farmers, bee keepers, home crafters, sheep shears & wool spinners, creative recyclers, our new age groups & alike. We know you guys are out there, so join in on the fun, share some information to enlighten others & get your specialties out there!!
Just to give a little info on who's already signed in for this event.....We have.....
RI Alpaca Farm....bringing some of her alpacas & spinning her creations!
A great group doing tractor pull shows
Familiar Spirits, bringing a bit of New Orleans to New England
Lunar Lights Candles with her 100% all natural soy candles! ( I burn these & LOVE them!)
Harleys~haven Bird Rescue, full of knowledge on birds of all sorts, focusing on the beautiful array of parrots many of us choose to keep as pets. (weather pending, there may be some of the birds there that are ready for adoption!)
Pink Heals **For them we will be offering space discounts to any Reiki practitioners & Healers that donate 1 hour to do mini sessions, with all donations going to Pink Heals!! :D
The Gifts of Spirit with Incense, Angel & Reiki information, products & mini sessions on working in the light!
Twisted Roots Botanicals With their all natural & organic teas, salves, sprays & alternative herbal aids!
**There will also be a large center tent for many of our local teachers for demos!!
Including Belly Dancing, Zumba, Cultural Ceremonial displays.....
** Also looking for a qualified group to do a fireworks display Sunday evening after sunset!**
There is enough interest, we are moving forward with our plans asap! So please leave us your name, phone number & information on what you do so we can plan accordingly.
Tentatively we are looking at April 26 & 27, 2013!
