2012 Yule Charity Drive

Helping those this Yuletide Season
Event Details: Once again Cats Lair Temple is pulling up our sleeves to help out a local
organization this Yuletide season. This year we are helping out the Julie Valentine Center.
The Julie Valentine Center works to stop sexual violence and child abuse.
Over the years we have helped out many groups and families- We ask that if you can please do so-

We are asking the Upstate of South Carolina and surrounding areas to help if you
can- here is the wish list for the Center-:
you can support the center with more than money. See below for items we currently
need.
New sweat pants, shirts, socks, shoes and underwear for use in the Greenville
Hospital emergency room. New clothing items are offered to sexual assault survivors
whose clothes have been taken as evidence by law enforcement.
Disposable dishes, cutlery, and cups for support groups
Coffee and Tea supplies for support groups
Paper products (napkins, bathroom tissue, etc.)
Office Supplies
New or gently used office furniture
Sheets (twin-sized) for the child-sized medical examination table
Food for volunteer trainings and support groups
Per-packaged snacks and non-carbonated beverages
Recordable DVDs
DVD Movies (G & PG Only) – Spanish & English
New toys like Fischer Price and Little Tykes playsets, Etch-A-Sketch, etc.
Landscape plants and flowers
In-kind services such as printing, mailing services, holiday gifts for support group
participants, etc.
Small prize giveaways such as stress balls, matchbox cars, pocket-sized bottles of
hand lotion, etc…
Below are drop off sites to take your items too: (more will be listed as we confirm
them- or if you want to be a donation drop off point let us know)
I’m heading this off as much as I am able to with Cat’s Lair Temple, and I am available as a drop off point. If you wish to drop off with me, please send me a message in email (candrews86@gmail.com) or message me on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/druantiasbutterfly) or call me at (864) 908-9969 and I can arrange to pick up the items or give you my address to ship the items to if they are ordered online or to drop them off with me there. I live near the center and I’ll be taking everything collected to the center before Yule.
