Playful Pagans-Friday Night Family Forest Frolics

When: Third Friday Night each month
Where: Nashville, Tennessee

Playful Pagans-Friday Night Family Forest Frolics

Event Details: Gather the family and all you need to share an evening in the forest under the stars and around the fire.

Intention: Join with joyful hearts to meet other like minded wiccan/pagan friendly families. Middle Tennessee has an abundance of faithful hearted followers of the “Well Worn Path.” All of which are mostly adult gatherings. This is a way for us to have a non-formal fun time to merry meet and share with our children. So follow the path, bring what you need for your family to be comfortable and maybe a bit more to share. I can not say it is going to be a potluck because I do not know who or how many may attend. I also am hopeful that as our meetings grow and maybe some will be inspired to orchestrate rituals and such. But that is not mandatory. Having fun and have the opportunity for the kids to meet other pagan/wiccan children and families is.

Where: Percy Warner Park, Deep Well Picnic Area,
Highway 100
Entrance between Harpeth Trace and
Vaughns Gap Road,
Nashville, TN 37221

Time: Show up anytime after 4pm and the park closes at 11pm. Stay as long as you will and go when you must.

Park rules are posted.

We will aim for the third picnic area next to the playground. If that is taken we will be, we will be at one of the other of the first 3 picnic areas. Look for a sign that will be clearly pagan in origin. (At the time of this post I have not made them yet.)

When: The third Friday of every month, April-October.

Other Information: Bring a few logs for the fire, appropriate clothing, drums and other musical merriments, camp chairs, bubbles and anything you wish to share and enjoy. There are port-a-potties but you will have to take a short drive to get there. (The only thing I ask is that if you smoke please dispose of your butts in the trash can provided. Hopefully we will be meeting for times to come and let’s not make the forest an ashtray.)

Without a lot of “hooha, ” I am hopeful we can build a strong family community without joining any organization.

Let’s have fun and frolic in the forest.
