Young Pagans Group

Gatherings and Mentors for Pagan Youths!
Event Details: Young Pagans
Calling all pagan youths interested in learning, celebrating, and having an active role in rituals!
Starting in December, the last Saturday every month will be dedicated to pagan youths. We will meet at The Magick House in Pipe Creek (see the Temple Notes for directions to The Magick House) Our youth group , to be named by the youths later, will gather at 2pm and end when Round table and drumming begins (about an hour before sundown) The youth gatherings will be geared towards teaching the fundemental pagan values and ritual work. Youths are welcomed to attend and participate in the round table discussion and drumming that follows their gathering.
One youth program has already been written designed to teach the kids the 5 elements and end with the youth casting circle with light hearts, elemental Magick, and song. This circle will be cast during the Beltaine celebration in the middle of May 2008 and will continue to be the foundation central to continued mentoring.
Parents are required to accompany all youths to the Saturday gatherings and observe or contribute to the activities as appropriate to the theme.

There is no charge for this group, however requests to bring materials, etc may occassionally be requested.
Feel to contact COTES with questions or suggestions for the youth group. The goal is to have the older youth earn leadershihp roles within the youth group under the guidence of the temples Elders, advisors, and adult adepts in the open membership.
If you are a parent and would like to become involved with mentoring this group, please let us know!
