Pagan Tea

When: Monthly, every 2nd Saturday
Where: Spring, Texas

Monthly, every 2nd Sunday 1- 6PM

Event Details: The Pagan Tea is an ongoing event is about celebrating and honoring life lived in faith, by people of deep faith. These people who though different in their faith paths, can choose to become family, by coming together and listening with open hearts. Come raise a cup o tea and celebrate with us.

On any given month there can be between 7 and 14 pagan holidays celebrated. Some events we will have one or multiple speakers attend and present on their faith and the holiday related to the holiday of that month. Sometime I will have a demonstration, a ritual, or something where people can choose (or not) to participate.

60 guests maximum, when cold out side. 100 guests maximum, when it is hot-pleasant (70-100+degrees) out side.

Drumming is always encouraged. Board games most likely will be played, but all presentations are given deference over any board gaming. The event is scheduled 1PM to 6PM feel free to come and go when you please.

Hospitality is requested to and from all in attendance. Please ask people if they approve of having their photo taken. Please do not post photos, to the internet of children at the Tea. We love our children and want to keep them safe.

*Please bring a sweet or savory dish to share and $5* additional is requested to support the continuance of the Pagan Tea. If you have a food offering that is related to your faith tradition or the holiday, please bring it. Sharing food of faith creates community through the “breaking of bread”. If you bring a dish to share, please bring a serving utensil for your offering. If you do not bring a dish to share, then please bring $5* or more.

*Cash Amount: $5 minimum (**For 5-6 hours of food drink and fun!) Any donations to support the Pagan Tea happily accepted beyond $5.

*Funds will go to cover food, disposable supplies, tea restocking, & possibly seasonal decorations. All money from the raffle, fundraiser, and $5 minimum goes back into the Tea.

**Standard Offerings: 7 varieties of hot tea (2 green, 1 red, 1 herbal, 2 black, 1 white) , lemonade, and water
offered. Hostesses and Host offers sweet and or savories.

There is an ongoing fundraiser of item for purchase. If you would like to donate items to the fundraiser, please bring the item to your next Pagan Tea. All items for purchase are cash preferred. There is an occasional raffle!

The Interfaith Tea is looking for sponsors, patisseries, tea houses, and religious shops. We also request great art with a tea and interfaith spirituality theme. The art can be donated to the Interfaith Pagan Tea to be added to tea mugs, t-shirts, bags, hats, etc. to be offered online for purchase.

Smokers are welcome, smoking is outside. People ages 0 to 100+ are welcome. Teens must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, prior to attending sans adult. *Teens are under the same obligations as adults.
