Blackberry Circle announces...

Blackberry Circle Samhain Festival & Ritual

When: Nov. 3rd. 2012
Where: Conroe, Texas

Blackberry Circle Samhain Festival & Ritual

Event Details: Blackberry Circle will be celebrating Samhain with a small festival, vendors, ritual, feasting and music on November 3rd, 2012. The public may begin arriving at 4:00pm for conversations and conviviality, shopping, games, and a general good time.

Ritual will begin about 7:30pm with feasting, fire, and frivolity to follow.
During the ritual we will be traversing to the Otherworld Circle to visit with and pay homage to our loved ones who have passed on before us. If you would like to bring a picture, personal belonging, or something else to be placed upon the Altar of the Dead to remember or honour your loved one, you may do so.

Blackberry Circle provides family friendly events and children are encouraged to attend with their parents as long as they are leashed (the children, not the parents… Well, maybe the other way around) .

Being the season of the witch, er, harvest, you are encouraged to dress in costume and there will also be a Jack-o-Lantern contest. Please bring a pre-carved or decorated pumpkin or other vegetable/fruit and enter it into the contest. There will be a prize, just not sure what it is yet.

Blackberry Circle will also be collecting items to be donated to the Montgomery County Food Bank. They are requesting Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Stew, Chili) , Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruits, Peanut Butter, Cereal, Powdered Baby Formula, Dried Soup Mixes, Dried Beans, Boxed Pastas, Rice.Non-Food Items: Diapers, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Soap, Shampoo, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels.
