SunStave Circle Open Public Sabbats

Event Details: SunStave is the oldest open public sabbat circle in Utah, and has been supported by the community since the Summer Solstice of 1996. It was begun as an experiment in non-hierarchical public sabbats, and it truly belongs to the people who support it. SunStave is named after the staff that is used to pass the responsibility of creating a sabbat from person to person, from group to group. Anyone (person or group) can take the staff and create a ritual, and present their vision of that sabbat to the community. At the end of each ritual, the staff is passed to the next person who wishes to take it.
