Salt Lake Pagan Pride Day 2004
When: Sep. 19th. 2004
Where: Murray, Utah
Harvesting the Fruits of Community
Event Details: Salt Lake's third annual Pagan Pride Day will include a focus on ritual, diversity, and unique Pagan paths. A showpiece of the day will be the celebration by Horus Oasis OTO of the Gnostic Mass at noon. There will also be a Celtic Frith workshop and divination ritual, a Native American presentation, an interactive community art project, arts and crafts, vendors, readers and musicians, workshops and ongoing mini-rituals throughout the day, and many many other attractions for adults, teens and children. Our theme this year is "Harvesting the Fruits of Community", and an intentional effort has been made to showcase a variety of local Pagan groups, from Utah's first Spiral Scouts troop to our longest-running Wiccan Church. The three main rituals of the day will be faclitated by the Spiral Scouts in conjunction with the Salt Lake Pagan Pride Association, the Church of the Sacred Circle, and the Chalice of the Rainbow Flame Chapter of CUUPS. Other features of the day include an interactive multi-diverse Diviinity Shrine, food and other vendors, children's activities, and information and presentations on Pagan beliefs. By popular demand the amazingly successful workshop on Magic and Life given at Salt Lake Pagan Pride Day 2003, by Frater Eckchay of the Horus Oasis OTO, will be repeated.. Please plan on spending the day with your family at a rapidly-growing Utah Pagan community tradition. For updates on the schedule and other information, please see the Salt Lake Pagan Pride web site.
