Astrology Class: The Young Child

Parenting & Caregiving of the Young Child, 6 week class
Event Details: Dates: Fridays, April 19, 2013 to May 24, 2013 (6 week class)
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Fee: $150
Attendance: limited to 8 people
Alternate: This class material is also available in the form of private sessions in person or over Skype, at a higher/ individual session fee rate that correlates with regular session fees.
In this 6 week class, with Mary Anna Abuzahra, we will study basic astrological tools to support parents and caregivers of young children. We will use astrological referencing and research, to approach topics including early childhood development, communication, siblings, toddler to 5 year old needs, positive discipline, and parent/caregiver confidence.
Some examples of astrological tools are:
-the importance of the moon in the lives of young children
-personal planets & points
-generational planets & points
-common childhood transits
-common parent/caregiver transits
-talents, strengths and weaknesses
- symbols for the ancestral patterns of parenting/caregiving
- symbols of pre-natal imprinting that support understanding of unconscious behavior.
Astrology helps to show how each person is an individual and encourages us to develop our own unique approach to life, thereby helping us to contribute to and become an engaged part of our collective community.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
-A deposit is required to hold your space. ($75)
-Natal data is required at registration. Children under 18
and other adults (living) such as grandparents etc. need to provide written validated consent to Mary Anna to allow their personal data to be researched by class participant.
-This series can be presented to your parent, teacher, homeschooling group or any relevant organization at a time frame and location that works for you, and may fit within the requirement for preschool teacher training hours for VT.
Mary Anna is a veteran Astrologer and Early Childhood Educator. She holds certifications and licensing as ECE Director, Montessori Educator, Lead Teacher and Vermont Northern Lights Instructor Trainer & Sponsor.
