Delsarte Home Circle, Bremerton, WA announces...

Delsarte Home Circle Fall Equinox Ritual

When: Sep. 21st. 2019
Where: Bremerton, Washington

AODA Fall Equinox, Kitsap Peninsula

Event Details: You must RSVP! This event requires transportation (car) to/from the Maize Maze and the ritual and potluck site, which is at a different location 20 minutes away.

The Minder Maize Maze walk is the first portion of this event. Site admission is projected to be ten to twelve dollars, which you hand to Minders at their gate.

Following the Maze walk meditation, projected to take an hour or so, we'll proceed to to the site for the potluck and Ritual of Falling Lights, held at a private residence.

The ritual should last between twenty and thirty minutes. (As druids, we try not to stand on ceremony-it just gets soggy and hard to read in our climate, especially when underfoot.) Ritual information will be sent to you ahead of time, along with a map to the site.

Following the ritual, there will be a potluck. Please bring enough for yourself and at least one other person, along with paper napkins/towels, cutlery and a plate, bowl or similar and a cup or glass.

The Delsarte Home Circle Fall Equinox Ritual is sponsored by the Delsarte Home Circle of the Ancient Order of Druids in America, established in the USA in 1912. Our basic information can be found at AODA.ORG.

This ritual and the Delsarte Home Circle is organized and led by Grand Archdruid Gordon Cooper, as an ongoing extension of "Wild-Crafting Your Own Druidry: Where You Live, Right Now". Wild-crafted druidries are discovered within nature as it is expressed and experienced in a specific area, drawing directly from the biome and organized around lived, visceral and meditative experiences unique to the Spirit of Place. Details can be found at:

http://aoda.org/publications/articles-on-druidry/

You must RSVP so the organizers can adequately plan. Attendance is capped at thirty.

Event Location: 2308 Kitsap Way in Bremerton
Event TIME Details: 1500 PDT

Directions: This is Sadie Mae's Coffee Shop. It is in the same parking lot as Amy's Chocolates, 2601 6th ST. Go into Sadie's and look for the table with the Awen placard.
