Aquarian Tabernacle Church [Witchvox Sponsor] announces...

Hekate's Sickle Festival XXIV

When: Nov. 1st. 2013 - Nov. 3rd. 2013
Where: Olympia, Washington

The ATC announces the 24th Annual Hekate’s Sickle Festival!

Event Details: Hekates Sickle Festival! Held over the first weekend of November each year!

Samhain will be around the corner soon, and the veil will thin. That's when the witches gather to celebrate. Samhain is one of Wicca's, and most of the Pagan Community's, most sacred times of the year. The Aquarian Tabernacle Church celebrates on the waters of the Puget Sound during the Hekates Sickle Festival. This year will be a celebration of the movement from the light half of the year, to the dark half of the year. This symbolic transfer from life to death is ritualized throughout Paganism to symbolize all of our transitions in life; from the loss of loved ones, to getting a new house, to starting a new career, and even dying ourselves.

This year we will be once again be following the winding paths through the majestic Pacific Northwest forest, and meeting up with Gods and Goddesses along the way. This year there will be three possible paths participants will follow. The Three Paths will follow a Greek, Celtic, or Hindu pantheon. Each one will display sacred mysteries of the season, through three different gates. The first gate will be the guardian who will allow you onto the path. Mermaids, Selkies, and Naga/Nagini. From there you will be taken through to two more gates. The last of which being the Living Shrines of the Sacred Goddesses of the Path. Hekate, Cerridwen, and Kali Ma.

In addition, this year we will also be doing a few more things to bring community time, and revelry into the moments between ritual. After Main Ritual we will all convene once again for our second annual Witches Ball, so make sure you bring a nice outfit for fancy dress! We will celebrate together with our friends and family and ancestors with dancing and music, laughing and singing; with our spirits raised to the roof!

We will also be having workshops scheduled with our Guest Presenters Rev. Willow Wellspring, and Rev. Alfred Willowhawk of Wite Ravyn Metaphysical Church-ATC Missouri. We are very lucky and honored to have them come to HSF, and share with us sacred mysteries of the Celtic Path.

Our Merchants Area will be also be vamping up and doing a consignment table. Handmade pieces from people within the ATC community, and Pagan Community at large will be available . If you have something you would like to have on the table, or if you would like information about vending during the event, details can be found through:

We hope you will come and visit us as we transition into the dark half of the year. At this time of year we have abundance. The crops are in, and the world is fertile. Samhain brings us the final harvest, and the time for those in the fields and abroad aw we let our paths converge on the long roads back home, for winter. Blessed Be, and see you at Samhain!

Registration fees include accommodations and all meals. We have lowered our prices across the board to keep pace with the recession recovery and widened the sliding scale for registrations, so those individuals who can afford to be more generous in their support of the programs and activities of the church, can give more responsibly according to their means. Festivals provide most of the funding for the church. The proceeds from our festivals are used to fund the dozens of ATC activities and programs all year long, and we appreciate your generosity, both past and future.

Hekates Sickle Festival is sponsored by the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, and is held yearly at a Variety of Campsites, including this years site: Millersylvania State Park
