Shamanism Intensive: The Ritual Holder's Path

Shamanism Intensive

Event Details: The Path of the Ritual Holder is nine months of in-depth training with two central areas of focus. The first is to foster deeper and more tangible connections with the spirits of nature and place along with your own spirit. The second is to to help you envision, create, and facilitate rituals when a need arises in your own life or in your community.

Graduates of the Shamanism Intensive emerge with a intimate understanding of their own gifts, the many ways of accessing them, and how those gifts may best be used in service to others. They also bear an profound knowledge of their own soul and of the way they dance with the spirits around them.

Location: Our land in the in the foothills of the Cascades outside Duvall, WA. We will be outside often, so come prepared for weather!

When: The Shamanism Intensive runs from September 2012-May 2013, every Saturday at 10am-2pm (excluding national holidays and a winter break) . In addition, each student will attend individual mentoring sessions once a month for one hour to address personal needs and challenges. Class begins on September 8th, 2012.

Curriculum Components:

Meditation techniques - through posture, movement, sound and others
Energy work & energetic communication
Spiritual cleansing and energetic protection of an individual or place
Amplifying intuition through rituals, affirmations, plant medicine and other methods
Speaking with spirits - how to recognize the ‘voice’ of spirits and communicate with them
Interpreting divination and natural omens
Creating power objects such as talismans, amulets and other charged objects
Spirit journeying freely and safely
Exploring past lives & ancestral connections
Planning, facilitating and holding space for rituals and ceremonies

Cost: $3, 000 for the year (tuition includes 32 weeks of class, 9 personal mentoring meetings, and several field trips) . A $300 non-refundable deposit is required by August 15th, 2012 to reserve a seat. Work trades for partial tuition available for low income situations.
