New leader of our monthly Drum Circle!

Event Details: Please join us in welcoming Cherokee Artist Lori Boess to the Crystal Voyage. We are very excited to announce and welcome the very talented and gifted Lori Boess who will be joining us as the new leader of our monthly Drum Circle.

We invite you to join Lori in Circle for drumming, stories, and ceremony. As a drum keeper, singer, artist and intuitive reader, Lori has over 20 years of experience in our community making drums, rattles and fans. Each month will feature a unique experience with the teachings Lori walks with.

Lori is the drum keeper for the Sweet Pine Singers and the owner of Medicine Dog Drum located in Yelm, WA. She trained with Elder Berniece Falling Leaves, Lakota/Danish, in Tacoma, and was adopted by Cherokee Elder Bonnie Pemberton. Lori has enjoyed a 17 year career in the Healing Arts and practices in Spanaway, WA. She is also an Intuitive Reader and teacher, and has worked in several communities using ceremonies such as Sweat Lodge, Fire Keeping, Rites of Passage, and Drum Making. Lori makes beautiful drums, rattles, and fans available for sale online at Her art may also be found in local galleries such as the Crystal Voyage, A State of the Arts Gallery, Flow and Function, and Tito's Gallery located in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Lori can also be found on the Pow Wow trail and many other local events including Flute Quest and NW Naraya. She travels extensively and is available for workshops in your area. Please join us in welcoming Lori to our Drum Circle community and the Crystal Voyage family. Our December Drum Circle will be held on Sunday, December 16th, from 3:30 pm - 5 pm. Don’t have a drum or rattle? Come anyway. There will be extra instruments available. We look forward to seeing you there. No registration necessary. Just drop in. Cost: $12 Cash to be paid directly to Lori.
