We are forming a group dedicated to the workings of Harry M. Hyatt and his studies of Witchcraft, Hoodoo, Rootwork, Conjuration, Folklore and Mythology. We will be discussing spells collected by Hyatt from conversations with Hoodoo Doctors and informants from the deep South from 1936-1940. This group is for discussion and idea-sharing of multi-cultural magical techniques amongst those who practice conjure, Hoodoo, and other related forms of folk-magic. The focus of this group is to share experiences, formulas, spells, and ideas with one another for the benefit of all.
Please don't come to this group if you are easily frightened, or offended or feel compelled to admonish others about karma or the bad effects of non-Wiccan magic. Our stand is that anyone coming to the group has their own life to worry about, and has the moral wherewithal to make their own decisions concerning the use of magic in any given situation.
This group is not for the squeamish, we sometimes discuss spells that use ingredients that some might find offensive. Don't come to this group if you are easily offended! This group is for those 18 years of age and over only!
