Andrea Covey & Friends announces...

Midsummer Fest

When: Jun. 19th. 2009 - Jun. 21st. 2009
Where: Hingham, Wisconsin

A gathering for any Earth-based path

Event Details: Many Pagans attend PSG (Pagan Spirit Gathering) during the same week, hosted by Circle Sanctuary. If you are able to do so, I very much encourage it. I've attended and is a wonderful gathering - very much worth the trip!

However, finances, work schedules and physical distance prevent many from attending. This is intended to be a mini version of PSG, with a few differences.

We encourage anyone of an Earth-based belief to attend - not just Pagans! We wish for people of all walks to be open minded, accepting, and most importantly, comfortable in their surroundings.

There will be a potluck Friday night before the as part of the opening ceremony. Workshops will be held Saturday, with drumming, music and fellowship in the evenings.

You may choose to camp out during the entire weekend, or just drop in for the day Saturday to participate in the workshops.

This is my first year of organizing this event, so any suggestions for workshops or any other helpful hints are always appreciated!

Remember, this is camping in Wisconsin, so be prepared for any weather! A list of suggested supplies will be provided. PRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by May 31st!

Fees: Entire weekend- Adults: $20, Age 5-14: $10, Under 4: Free. Saturday Only- Half of weekend prices. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Sheboygan County's Earthfest. Check out their website at . Since its start 19 years ago, Earthfest has donated thousands of dollars to local environmental groups and other organizations in need of the community's help.

This is an alcohol-free event. Handicap accessible facilities are available. Self-guided hiking trails are on site for all to enjoy. (Shorter trail handicap accessible)

Join the MySpace (URL below) and get to know people before attending! Help spread the word!

Registration opens May 13th. Contact us in advace so that we may have your contact info available first thing! We will email you the paperwork, if possible, then ask that you snail-mail your registration with payment.
