Inbolc Ritual

Sacred Crossroads Brigid Celebration
Event Details: At the time when we become aware of the lengthening of days, we celebrate Imbolc, also known as Candlemas and Brigid. While we are still in winter, the hope of spring has begun to grow.
Please join Sacred Crossroads, a Unitarian Universalist ministry to the local Pagan community, to celebrate the return of the Light. We will gather on Februeary 2, 2013, in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, and begin preparation for the ritual at 6:30 pm. We will cast the circle at 7 pm. There will be an explanation of the ritual before we begin, so a lack of experience in Pagan practices is no problem.
Our ritual will be led by David and Patience, and will be dedicated to the Goddess Brigid. It is rumored that dragons will be involved.
Following our ritual, there will be a feast. If you are able, please bring food or drink to share, but if you can't come anyway -- there's always plenty for everyone. Sacred Crossroads also collects donations for the Covenant House food pantry at every ritual, so feel free to bring non-perishible food donations.
Sacred Crossroads activities are open to the public. SC is a Democratically run Pagan organization and a member of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) .

Event TIME Details: Gather at 6:30
Directions: From downtown Charleston, take Kanawha Boulevard west past Magic Island.
