 Website Profile: Challenging times have come to Red Tail Alliance. Sun Rising, who was the project manager for the Golden Eagle Cultural Grounds, loss consciousness while driving and hit a telephone pole.
Fortunately her injuries were minor, but the repercussions are major. Doctors believe she suffered a seizure and as a result, her license to drive was suspended.
All progress on the development of the Grounds has come to a halt. Fund-raising activities have had to be canceled. The future of the Grounds is uncertain.
However, the Sacred Circle continues to meet every other Wednesday in the small ceremonial room at 157 Emery. Full Moon Ceremonies will continue at the Grounds until snow is on the ground.
If you are in the area and interested in attending either Sacred Circle meetings or Full Moon Ceremonies, please check the calendar page of our website. You will find dates, times and places of meetings.
The Full Moon Ceremony is a Traditional Western Shoshone ceremony. New participants are asked to come 30 minutes early for instruction in proper ceremonial protocol.
We NEVER charge for attendance at any ceremonies as that is NOT the Traditional Native American way. Donations are gladly accepted but not required.
