“The Symbolist Tarot” Deck Publishing Independently Via
Online Crowd-funding Site, Kickstarter
Sinister Concept, an independent design company from Portland, Oregon announces the publishing of an exquisite fine art tarot deck, The Symbolist Tarot. Over the course of 28 days they will seek to raise funds for printing costs through the online crowd-funding source, Kickstarter.com.
Portland, Oregon (WEB) May 21, 2012 – Independent design company, Sinister Concept announces the release of a brand new tarot deck named, The Symbolist Tarot. This stunning fine art deck is illustrated with artwork from the 19th Century Symbolism movement by the masters of this era. Sinister Concept will seek funds through a 30 day online campaign with Kickstarter.com, a crowd-funding site that allows patrons to donate money in exchange for gifts: the actual deck (s) , artwork, and more.
In line with Kickstarter.com guidelines, Sinister Concept has a set number of days to raise all the funds, or the project receives nothing. The Symbolist Tarot has a 30-day fundraising window, from start to finish. If the allotted budget ($8, 000 US) isn't raised before June 20, all pledges are cancelled and the deck will not be printed.

This stunning full-color 78 Card deck includes paintings by legendary Symbolist painters including Franz Von Stuck, John William Waterhouse, Gabriel Rossetti, Edward Burne-Jones, Evelyn De Morgan and many others. It is the perfect deck for both divination and standalone art cards. Each deck is printed on the highest quality playing card stock, comes shrink wrapped in a full-color, sealed tuck box with booklet.
