This is a place for friends and relatives of those people in our lives that are Addicts. Are you the child/partner/sibling/friend/ex-partner of an Alcoholic, a Drug Addict, a Sexual Addict, or a Gambler?
If you life has been changed by addiction, if you have been hurt by addiction, if you have lived with addiction, you are not alone, there are many of us in the same situation. Many of us have felt abuse, hurt, anger and powerless over the disease of addiction.
Earthywisdom is an online source of daily inspiration in our recovery to move beyond being co-dependant, its a place for healthy beginnings and journeys into serenity through support and spirituality. We believe that changed attitudes can aid in our recovery, Daily we bring you words of wisdom and thoughts that can change your outlook to aid you in finding and restoring inner peace.
We discourage dwelling on past errors and disappointments, instead we visualise the future as a series of new days, each a fresh opportunity for self realisation and growth. Today is only a small manageable segment of time in which our difficulties need not overwhelm us. This lifts from our hearts and minds the heavy weight of both past and future.
