Group Overview: Hearthfire is a teaching circle for students of the Craft. It is for those whose spiritual path has led them to ask to know more.
Our focus is ecclectic wicca, with a special interest in the Goddess (in all her forms) as well as her consorts. The circle is called Hearthfire, after goddess Hestia. It is very much a kitchen-witch type of circle, at least to begin with!
Hearthfire is located in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, and meets once a month. We explore the craft and develop some of the skills such as tarot reading, crystals and basic healing - developing skills and understanding which are not easily learned by books alone, to serve as a grounding in the Craft.
There are no restrictions on what we practice save for that which breaks craft Law and that which is beyond the scope of this circle. There would also be certain requirements of members, in particular commitment to attendance and honesty in all dealings. There would be no requirements on skill or experience.
Please contact me if you are interested, and feel free to pass this on to anyone who may also be interested. It will have to take place in the Dandenong/Cranbourne/Narre Warren area so people will need to be able to get there. There's good train access available and we could organise car pooling.
