Group Overview: If you practice the spiritual tradition of Druidry, or have interest in doing so, and would like to be part of a Grove located within the Perth Hills area of Western Australia, or would like more information, please contact me.
The Grove's outlook is a modern Druidry, a contempory spiritual path, offering an alternate and viable spiritual way, practice, and approach to life which is creative, evolving and current.
Our Druidry is influenced by: the lands of Druidry's origins, our teachers, and the lands of our birth.
We embrace and uphold an active respect for the environment and creation, and care for the earth. As Druids we believe the sacred resides in all life and in this belief we engage in promoting peace.
The Grove respects the rights and responsibility of every person to discover what is true for their own self, and respects the individual beliefs of each member.
As a Grove we come together to celebrate life, celebrating the changing seasons and the cycles of life, sharing ceremony and creativity, sweat house (sweat lodge) ceremony, with a focus on regular meditation sessions and eco-shamanic practises, etc, within a group setting.
As modern Druidry is not dogmatic it does not limit itself to a particular understanding of deity, therefore it is each persons relationship with life that defines this understanding. As Druids, and as a Grove we recognise an animating principle or Source, and a belief that all of creation is alive with 'Spirit'.
The Grove leans towards a holistic and naturalistic philosophy in its approach, 'Nature' is used to define the totality of existence rather than an anthropomorphic figurehead (a God/Goddess form) . The Grove does not use deity as the creator/s of natural forces of life and landscape, and any use of deity is symbolic, we do not worship deity. We encourage self knowledge, the promotion of self-healing and personal transformation.
We also welcome those of other religious or spiritual paths to take part in our seasonal gatherings.
