Welcome to the Raven Wyches of Yggdrasil. We are a small coven, currently in the process of rebuilding but we are a family oriented coven and always welcome children of all ages into our circle. Although we may be a coven governed under a Norse God, we are not asatru. Odin is our chief diety, however each coven member has their own God/Goddess that they have honour and those Gods and Goddesses along with all the other ones are ALWAYS respected and welcomed. You may have often heard that mixed pantheon covens don't always work...well let me be the first to express how incorrect that statement is. We've been going for 11 years now and so far other than minor hicups the coven still stands as strong as ever. So don't worry if you don't share some of the same dieties as the rest of us, you will always be welcomed as will your diety.
The Raven Wyches have an "open door" policy for our Sabbat and Essbat rites, however our monthly meetings are strictly for coven members unless you are asked to be present for one of them for whatever reason. We still teach willing students that are serious and dedicated to learning. Either one on one or in a group setting. We aren't omnipotent and all knowing so even we are still learning ourselves. What we do know though we can pass on to you. If you are interested in learning the craft we request that you meet with Lord Raven and I privately at first to see where you are at. If you are under the age of 16 however we request that you have your parent or guardian get in touch with us to make sure it would be alright for you to learn the Craft. We would also request a personal meeting with your parent (s) /guardian along with you so we can all discuss what we would teach or what you would like to learn. Their consent is very important and is mandatory.
If after meeting with us and with the rest of the coven you would like to continue your path with us then we will welcome you and we will set you on your way to a journey of a year and a day. After your year and a day is over and you still would like to join the coven and become a Raven Wych then you will be initiated, if not then that is alright as well and we will continue to support you in whatever path you choose to walk after. You will find the coven an accepting bunch and we are not afraid to have fun during our rites. There is always much fun and laughter to be had for we feel that a serious rite is not what is expected of us (anyone in general) . Adding a lil of ourselves to the Rite is what makes it unique and special.
Lord Raven and I are ordained, however we are not Legal to preform any ceremonies here in Canada, it is all mainly stateside for now. We do however have a clergy listing if you would like to check there to see what all we offer. We have preformed many non legally handfastings though and I enjoy working with couples to make sure their handfasting ceremony is personalized and to their liking. A handfasting should be unique and definately memorable.
We also use various tools of divination to assist you with whatever questions you may have. It has been a very long time since I have had to do a past life regretion but if you are interested in knowing about one of your past lives I'm sure I can still help you to some degree. If I am unable to assist you then we can work together to find someone that could help you.
If you are interested in learning more, or wish to share your own knowledge please do not hesitate in sending us a message. Some times it takes us a few days to get back to you, if you have not heard from us in a week please feel free to contact us again and then we'll go from there. We would like to meet with you first over coffee or tea and give you the oportunity to ask any further questions if you have any. Once we have gotten over the first initial meeting you can attend any of the Sabbat or Essbat Rites to meet the other members of our coven.
Before I forget...WE DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY FOR OUR SERVICES. We would prefer you donate to either a charity, or to the food bank most times. On occassion we would ask that you donate supplies to the coven...ie: Candles, charcoals, flowers, herbs...etc. NEVER money though! We do not believe in charging for the gifts we have been blessed with. *smiles*
