Group Overview: This group was created in the fall of 2006 at the University of Victoria. Originally called the "UVicWics", the group changed its name in 2007 to reflect our broader interests from Wicca to Paganism in general. We meet for dicussions on any number of topics on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, and we have held a couple of public Sabbat rituals in the last year.
Some of our dicussion topics include the mechanics of creating ritual, gender and sexuality in paganism, various Sabbats as they approach, how to deal with family when you have recently realized you are Pagan, and various other topics that come up. This is an informal group that provides a forum to learn from each other and share what we know. Depending on availability of space, we would like to be able to hold as many sabbats as possible (as long as they don't interfere with exams!)
UPDATE: As of fall 2009, this group is no longer running. Sorry!
