Group Overview: To the Greater Pagan Communities of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island:
Through a desire for change, and service to the Pagan community as a whole, a group sat together. This group discussed the challenges and joys of the pagan community as it presently is, and found common ground in what they felt could improve upon what is already a large growing community.
This group is Pagans Atlantic Coalition East (PACE) .
Our mission is to continue the involvement of pagan organizations within our own community to support the growth of NeoPaganism within Atlantic Canada, while embodying the importance of a greater community connection.
We see opportunities for growth as a community through:
- Involvement in pagan events (such as Bardic Circles, public rituals, appreciation nights)
- Involvement in community events in service to Mother Earth (for example, Adopt-a-Highway, Park Cleanups, Food Banks, etc.)
- Providing opportunities to grow not only through public rituals, but through education/workshops, involvement in stewardship, and attendance of conferences
- Long term goals include planning a festival, and hosting Gaia Gathering
