Group Overview: After joining in 1992 I was ordained as a Priest of the Fellowship of Isis. In July of this year a charter was granted by the Rev. Laura Janedaughted the Priestess Heirophant of the Isuem/Lyseum of Isis Pelegia in association with the
Temple of Isis/Los Angeles, California.
It was my desire after joining the Children of Gaea to found an Iseum to meet the spiritual needs of the magickal community. An Iseum is the Hearth of the Goddess around which the members draw stength, love and inspiration from one the accept as Mother. They are a family. The God is also given due hoonour. Each Iseum has its own magic, its own Divinity, and is dedicated to the Goddess and God. The Goddess take precedence in our to bring balance to our endangered earth, threatened by over emphasis on male technology and power-games. The Iseum is Celtic in nature with Danu and Herne as the Goddess and God archetypes.
As a member of this Iseum or any other you can choose the degree of your involvement. There are no binding oaths connected with any F.O.I. Iseum. A member may leave freely at any time, and may choose also join other Iseums. While the Fellowship is open to all sincere followers of the Goddess, each individual Iseum is a focus for work, and the workers must be in harmony. The Lady of the hearth chooses her guests, and the Host protects the home.
Membership is open to all true seekers over the age of 18 or under with parental conscent. This is to protect ourselves from having children join without the knowledge and consent of their parent(s).
