Group Overview: Roots, a Trent U Pagan Study group, is open to newcomers and experienced hands alike. Our goal is to explore various Pagan paths and traditions, to honor the Ancestors, the Shining Ones and the Nature Spirits of the region, and to develop as spiritual individuals in the context of a university environment.
We will be discussing various topics at our moots and meetings, and will follow the Ár nDraíocht Féin (http://www.adf.org) Dedicant Path study program as a way of broadening our branches and deepening our roots. The ADF DP program is a generalized program focussed on developing personal and group Paganism in a standardized, straight-forward and educational fashion; it can be applied not only to the work of ADF's vision of Druidry, but to all other Pagan traditions as well.
Roots will offer open circles to celebrate the High Days, hosted by those of various traditions ranging from Druidry to Asatru to Wicca - we aim on educating and promoting various Pagan faiths in a positive light, and encouraging other Trent U Pagans to come out of the "woodwork" and join us in celebrating the Gods, the Ancestors, and the Nature Spirits.
