Group Overview: Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
The Irish Order of Thelema has drawn from the historical and magical traditions of Ireland synthesizing them with the precepts of the Law of Thelema to create a new and unique Order.
This provides a focal point for a community united by a common interest in the principles of individual liberty, the welfare of the human race, and the exploration, application and celebration of ‘The Book of the Law.’
The Irish Order of Thelema has a number of areas of focus and differing levels of membership.
Community membership
Community membership is open to those who find our aims and intentions in accord with their own, who wish to participate in the celebration of the seasonal festivals and various other semi-public events hosted by the Order without undertaking the full commitment and responsibility of initiate membership. Community membership is also open to those under 18 years of age.
Life rites are also available in the context of community work.
Initiate Membership - Elemental Series
Application for initiate membership is open to all men and women over 18 years of age, who have passed an interview with the head of their Local Lodge.

Guilds and Working Groups
After the elemental series are three chapters, or areas of work under which working groups are constituted. Research, study and working groups working with special areas of the Western tradition are formed, and depending on the intention of these groups may be open to the public, community members, initiate members, or initiates above the elemental cycle. Groups are formed under the sponsorship of initiates of the three chapters.
Temple Space
The Irish Order also has a permanent temple space in Belfast used for ritual and teaching. In other areas the Order meets in private homes, rented or borrowed space.
