Witches and pagans in and around Oslo
Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Oslo, Norway
Key Contact: Ithir Cloudchaser
Spiritual Path: Eclectic Pagan / Wiccan
Status: Group Forming
Community Support: None Offered

Group Overview: Greetings!
I'm starting a group in Oslo for witches and pagans in the vincinity, and seek people that could be interested in joining in such an adventure! In the beginning, this group would be more of a studygroup / bookcircle, with informal get-togethers were we would discuss the Craft, share experiences, try out new techniques in spellcraft, meditation, healing etc. Eventually, if the group works and we find stable, common ground, this might evolve into something more permanent (yes, coven, I'm looking at you) over time.
As the group is only starting, I can't give a clear, 100% correct description off what the group will become, but I can however give some of my own thoughts on the subject:
* Any and all are allowed to join the group, regardless of gender, age (just keep in mind that this listing is in the "adult" section) , race, sexual orientation, experience in the Craft and beliefs. The group is meant to be a more open forum where many different people can meet and exchange ideas, thoughts and experiences.
* There will be no strict hierarchy, each and everyone is valuable, each of us has different abilities, powers and gifts to bring to the group, even if they are not aware of it yet. Everyone shall be treated equal, regardless of age, gender or years of experience (or lack thereof) .
* Nothing is written in stone; we will all collaborate to find our common ground, what we can base our rituals, celebrations and such on. This way, the things we create will be the creation of the group as a whole, not dictated by the few.
* Everyone shall respect the beliefs of the others in the group, there is no wrong or right in this. I myself have my patron gods and goddesses, but have no problem in invoking them in other aspects, or use just "Goddess" and "God" or "the Lord" and "the Lady. The essential here is that we know that although we might CALL the Divines by different names, they are all aspects of the same source.
I could ramble on and on here, but I think most of you have already decided whether or not this group might be something for you.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I shall answer to the best of my ability. If you wonder who I am, read my profile and / or drop me a line!
Have a wonderful Lughnasadh, and Blessed Be!
