Group Overview: The Coven of the Hart and Hare is a Lineaged, and Initiate Gardnerian Coven committed to the tradition and its lore. It's roots lie deep in verifiable Sussex Traditional craft hailing directly from Hove, Brighton and Littlehampton in the United Kingdom
The tradition encompasses the mysteries of High Magick as well as folk craft and as such the depth of work requires a mature, and strong character to weather the effects and benefits of such an undertaking.
Members are expected to be mature, of good standing, and high calibre as this is reflected in the work. Magick is not for the faint of heart.
Entrance into the coven is through traditional means, hard work in the outer court, and time served as a novice.
Travel and meeting attendance, as well as completed assigned work is expected.
Please note that as a Gardnerian group, the Coven has no association with, nor does it support the Alexandrian Covens: Coven of the Triple Moon, Temple of the Good Game, Amser Rhwng Amserau as their practices are at odds with our own.
