Suffolk Witchcraft Training Group

Group Overview: We run an out of coven, pre-initiation training group for those interested in Initiatory Witchcraft.
The training group, like all genuine Craft training, is free of charge and runs over a two year period, one evening a week, three weeks on and one week off. The training takes a winter break between Halloween and Candlemas.
The training group is run by a long established country coven in the North of Suffolk with a Gardnerian heritage.
We prefer to keep the training group small, with a maximum of 8 people, although 5 is more common. This is so each member of the training group can have the opportunity to fully participate within each session.
Ideally this is a training group suited to people who are interested in the Initiatory esoteric type of Witchcraft rather than Popular Wicca and who can put in the commitment to attend the training regularly.
Unfortunately we can't take anyone into the training group who is under the age of 21.
The training group may lead to initiation for those that are compatible with the coven, however you do not need to want to be initiated to join or take part in the training group.
We are fortunate in that we are friendly with other Witch groups in the area and we will do our best to find a place in another group for those who seek initiation but perhaps are not compatible with our coven.
As well as the formal training we also run and take part in fun events throughout the year. These include events such as wildlife watching and pagan conferences like Leaping Hare in Colchester run by the Colchester Pagan Network and Pagan Federation. We also hold a party once a year which will give you the chance to meet members of the coven, who will also drop by to give the occasional talk.
