We are a Stafford based Pagan group, offering events, open ceremonies, crafts and also operating an online radio and events.
The Grove of Yews was originally called the Tribe of The Spirit Bear and was founded in 2006 by James "Sunbird" Carrington as a group working towards the education of the public on the subjects of religious tolerance, environmental awareness and community rejuvenation.
Our Mission
he Grove of Yews hopes to bring to life the ancient teachings of our Ancestors in order to better cope with the Modern World and provide a real and practical solution to environmental and social issues.
Our mission is to promote and support community,
To promote and support religious and cultural tolerance,
To promote and support environmental responsibility.
We are against all forms of discrimination.
We also speak out against issues we feel strongly about as individuals, issues that range from human rights abuse, to abuse and commercialisation of spirituality, from housing and development, to political matters.
We aim to strengthen Community Spirit, help and advise people on environmental and social issues, bring religious, cultural and environmental education to a new level of importance.
We welcome people from all faiths, all cultures and all walks of life to our events, though our members are pagan.
