Isis, diosa egipcia del amor y la fertilidad, esposa del dios Osiris, madre del dios Horus y hermana de Neftis.
Tenemos un culto permanente a Isis, la Diosa de los 10.000 nombres, con un enfasis en las energias de sanacion y renovacion que Ella entrega a sus devotos. Se ha hecho muchos meses ya y es una actividad que ha ido creciendo tanto en profundidad de trabajo como en numeros de personas integrandose. El nombre del iseum es Temple of Isis (Chile) . Iseum es una palabra Greco-romana para denominar un templo, capilla o santuario de Isis.
Es parte de un proyecto que vamos gestando desde Noviembre 2007, cuando recibimos la bendicion de la Dama Olivia Robertson para fundar un templo de Isis en Chile, bajo el aegis del Fellowship of Isis. Permiso concedido durante la conferencia anual del Goddess Conference en Avalon (Glastonbury) , Inglaterra. Nuestra respuesta a la llamada de Isis a sus antiguas sacerdotisas y sacerdotes de renovar y continuar Su sagrado culto.
Tenemos una capilla (shrine) permanente en Algarrobo, pero nuestra meta es que Isis tenga su propio espacio con las dependencias que un templo requiere, donde tambien puedan haber altares permanentes a su hermana Nephtys, a Ma’at, Osiris y Horus. Estan en desarrollo planos de arquitecto para este espacio y trabajamos para obtener los materiales de construccion.
Nuestra mayor labor hasta ahora es sanación; el recuperar antiguas técnicas; y entrenar sacerdotisas para el Templo. Existe un curso virtual para esto. Eso significa que la mayor parte de nuestro trabajo es interno al Iseum. Ceremonias se realizan en luna nueva. Entrega de ofrendas; oraciones segun la liturgia preparada por el Fellowship of Isis; oraculo y sanación son los trabajos usuales de estas ceremonias.
