Group Overview: We are a fully-ratified student society at Newcastle University, UK. We welcome all Pagans (and all those who are interested/curious about Paganism) ; meetings are held roughly fortnightly, and we have trips to natural beauty spots and ancient sites in the pipeline. We also plan to hold talks and events that spread awareness about Paganism, educating non-pagans and dispelling misconceptions about the various Pagan paths. We are also recognised by the Student Union as a religious society- our President was invited to a Faith Leader's Lunch last semester, before the society was even ratified. Though only students of Newcastle can become paid members and go on trips etc (for insurance reasons) , all local Pagans are welcome to get in touch, and we would love to foster relations between other local Pagan groups.
We also have the full backing of the Pagan Federation, which is a national organisation that has been working to help Pagans since 1971; we are currently working to get paid-up members discounted subscriptions to Pagan Dawn, as well as discounted PF membership.
