Group Overview: The Coven of Phi is based upon a concept we call "Spiritual Physics". To explain this briefly, if you look at all of our festivals, they are based around astronomical events and agrarian times of the year.
Unliike many, we do not believe science ruins the mysteries, but if anything enhances and reinforces the basic pagan concepts. For example, Pagans believe in the duality of life and nature, light/dark, male/female, and so does physics. Everything in the universe is either matter or energy and any biologist would agree with the male/female duality of life. This is a very condensed explanation of the concept of Spiritual Physics.
This is why we picked Phi as the symbol for our group as it is a magical mathematical ratio found in every living thing and appears to define beauty in many man-made designs.

We are very open-minded but are no nonsense Pagans. We look for wisdom and spirituality in all forms of religion and philosophy and are so far great fans of the wisdom that can be found in eastern religion and philosophy. For example .Buddhism and Transcendental Meditation.
We are more than happy to share our knowledge and ideas and hope that any new members would like to study towards their degrees.
