Group Overview: http://kantiongrove.weebly.com/contact.html

Hail and welcome to the kantion grove , i am Claire, Ive been practicing witchcraft for about 13 years now, mainly Celtic, as i love the ancient traditions of albion. when i started, i had no guidance, i learnt merely by myself, reading books when i could, until a friend of mine started learning with me. as the years went on , i developed my craft, built many books of shadows , learnt different aspects of the craft , divination and herbs being my forte as it were.ive always been into magick and witchcraft since i was a kid, starting with making flower elixirs and potions in buckets when i was about 4 or 5.I have been influenced in my craft by some of the most influencial writers of the age, Cassandra eason, Doreen valiente, Scott cunningham but to name a few.A recent favourite of mine is laurie Cabot of the hermetic temple cabot tradition, who has taught me that every one needs guidance at some point in their craft .
Now, the reason i started the Kantion Grove is because during the summer of 2012 i received several emails and Facebook messages regarding the craft, how to start whats this and whats that, can you show me.. well you get the drift! so, i decided to start with monthly moots, where by each moot would have a teaching circle of 12 consecutive months of teaching to give the newbies some guidance, also so they had done a year and a day of practice.the inner circle of the grove are close friends and distant relatives of mine, whereas the outer circle are online made friends, whether from other groves or practicing witches, pagans or druids. Its like this to a. aid newbies in there craft, b. so the inner circle is for teaching and the outer for guidance, feedback, sabbat ritual gatherings etc.
Over the course of a few months, i became interested in the Loyal Arthurian Warband, what it stands for, Truth Honor and Justice, fighting for the people and working for the people, led by King Arthur Pendragon of the Stonehenge grove, i set to take some of my grove to meet him where, i was subsequently knighted under his Athame, he then named us the Kantion grove and since then, the whole grove has been helping the warband with fundraising, generating ideas for fundraising, sharing blogs and websites, supporting the cause for the return of the ancestors who have been dug up and are currently due to be shown off in a new visitors centre at Stonehenge which we feel is wrong, this is being done by english heritag who are not taking in the views and opinions of the pagan community at all, completely dismissing that they once were human, were our ancestors , fallen kings and are 'proud' to show them off like a victorian peep show.
i attended the autumn equinox celebrations at stonehenge and got knighted properly under our kings sword, which was an honour, not to mention standing side by side with my brothers and sisters of the craft and cause.
the Kantion grove is always open and welcome to beginners, experts, people of all backgrounds and paths. we all need help at times blimey, im unsure on how many times ive asked for help and guidance. sometimes our paths become clouded, we learn so much and we dont know where to turn, a book i may recommend to help with this is called 'staying on the old track' by welsh witch and author, Tylluan Penry.

we tend to have online moots, whereby a chosen topic is decided and we all feedback on it, or people ask questions, occasionally, the moots are held at my home but moot venue is being discussed at the moment. there is no fee, however, if a craft activity goes on , then a contribution to the costs of equipment is asked.

If you wish to join us, your more than welcome to contact us and be part of the magic.
many blessings to you
claire
