Group Overview: Covine (Coven) of the Compass and Stang, is about going out to the cross-roads, feeling the energy in the land, and being and becoming. The initiations are nine in number, and were passed onto me, as the 'merlin initiation's.' to these nine, are added the beautiful workings of traditional cornish witchcraft. we work mostly outdoors in the land and woods, and our workings are skyclad, no room here for the fearful.
we work with the land energy, known as the sprowl, and our deity is the old Horned-God and his Lady, of universal consiousness, of which we are all a part, thus our true spiritual path is to fully know and become aware of this divine inner self.
we work spells, along with incense, charms, powders and 'dragon's blood.' our working tools are the stang, knife, bowl and stone; incense, powders, bone and blood; boline, wands, cauldron and broom, cords and fire, friendship and the light.
The initiations are known as the Red, Green and Black cord Initiations and are 0) courage, leading onto - 1) entering,
2) tool receiving, 3) facing the devil, 4) a walk with the merlin/morgana, 5) the path of the serpent, 6) the path of the hare, 7) path of the toad, 8) path of the crow, and 9) calling forth the/ or awakening the dragon. I have added Wicca's moral lore of, 'And if it harm none, do as thou will, ' The three-fold lore of return, and the lovely saying, 'Merry meet, Merry part, and Merry meet again.'
we meet for the 6 furry nights (sabbatts) , for 6 full moon's and 6 dark moon's, a total of 18 meetings a year for those who are , , , distant fellows, , , solitary, , need not do so, , , they only require the nine initiations.
covine members learn together the 'herb arte, ' and the old arte of 'bone setting, ' how to walk out into the land to 'become, ' and the dark arte's of hexing, flying herbs, and tantric meditation, , , , this is not wicca, no fluffy stuff here, this is real old country witchcraft. please e-mail me, , , at

I have no time for time wasters, , , only the real people who are ready to step onto this old path way, need apply, , I do interview, so that we do not waste each other's time, only those who I feel akin-ship with, (an inner knowing) will be allowed to enter my Coven, for a Covine must run as a good hearted group of friends, Ego's are a No, No.
