Group Overview: Merry Meet!
CSS is a 7 year old (almost 8!) Eclectic Coven of Witches that began in Sumiton, Alabama. We now have only one Coven member living in that area and so all but very few events happen in Birmingham. We are family oriented and child friendly. Children are welcome and encouraged to participte during Ritual. We host Sabbats that are open to guests we have met or can be vouched for by dear friends. We teach classes on Wicca and Reiki. We host drum circles and potlucks and attend Pagan festivals. We have three Master Level Reiki Practitioners in our Coven. We have Clergy members in our Coven and have performed Handfasting/ Weddings and quite a few Rites of Passage. Red Tent Temple is a women's empowerment group hosted by one of our Coven members in Birmingham. Wolf and Stag is a men's group hosted by another Coven in Birmingham as well. We have a website (http://circleofthesacredspirit.webs.com) and a secret facebook group for CSS. We invite you to have a look at the links and see if perhaps what we offer might be what you and your family are looking for. If so we'd be happy to set up a meet and greet so that you may participate in our activities.
